A recent highlight for Smart Hospitality was winning a prized contract to provide catering for corporate hospitality guests at the Robbie Williams 'Close Encounters' tour. Having working with Mark Butler Associates before, we were thrilled to be asked to cater for their hospitality, management and sponsor suites in Leeds and Milton Keynes. The two sites differed hugely in available space for kitchens and service areas. Smart Hospitality varied their style of service and food offering accordingly and in Leeds (where space was at a premium), designed a fun, 'roving' style menu with staff circulating the marquee with mixed trays of bowl food, ensuring all guests were served quickly. A freshly prepared Paella was cooked in giant skillets in the main room, creating a theatrical element to the food service. Fun, interactive dessert stations were situated around the room. These included a large chocolate fountains with colour changing bases, complete with an array of sumptuous dipping goodies, Candy floss, Toffee apples and a vodka and smoothie shot bar decorated with flying saucers, jelly beans, fizzy cola bottles, dolly mixtures and jelly babies! |
